Hi everybody. :-) I thought it would be fun to have a mini-fig survey. I had
two different things in mind for this survey, so I used two different terms
to better express what I was asking. A “character” is a fig that you have
given a name, a background, or a personality. A fig is, well, a fig.

1. What is the first character you remember creating?

I don't give my custom minifigs names, backgrounds and personalities. I let
them live their own lives. I made the cast of Jurassic Park once, Hammond and
Nedry turned out great.  And my LEGO Superhero, Timmy Torso Man!

2. Of your current characters, which did you build first? Last?

I wouldn't call any of my characters current.

3. Do you have clear “good” and “bad” characters, or is it all relative?

Definately all relative.  My mini-figs are actually all rather peaceful people
anyway.

4. Have you ever built a MOC specifically for a pre-existing character?

I built an interesting house for a Tribal Chief I bought.  And
probably some other stuff, too.

5. How many custom (non-standard assembly) castle figs do you have? How
many have some bit of a background, or a personality?

I do like to swich around my minifigs, but I don't think I have any
intentionally custom Casle figs right now.  Of course, I'm sure there are some
not in their orignal combination.  They're in the bucket now.

6. Which Castle subtheme has the best figs?

Probably Knights Kingdom. Good variety and detail, with some new elements.
(Anyone want to sell me the queen and princess?)  Black Knights was better for
armies though, because everyone was so simple (plus cool armour and helmet
visors!).

7. Is there a type of fig you find easy to make? A type you find difficult?

Space is challenging.

8. Have you ever bought a set just for the figs?

Islander Catamaran!!! :D  I also bought Droid Escape
because I wanted the characters, altough I more bought it "just because it's
Star Wars".

9. Which non-Castle theme is the best source of Castle compatible figs?

I don't really think any non-Castle theme is all that compatible.  Pirate 'figs
were pretty compatible though (not Islanders!), and some Star Wars sets (like
the Landspeeder are okay for Castle too.

10. Is making a background and/or personality for a fig something you find
simple, or challenging?

Challenging.  I typically have a very hard time naming anything, including
characters in stories and comics I want to write.  Making backgrounds isn't too
hard.
