Lego Town set Reviews

Welcome to the Town set reviews page!

Here, yet again, I have assembled a finely placed directory of more town reviews for those who are just curious, and as a small guide to which sets to buy.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this guide!

Town Set Reviews

Set Name: Holiday Homestead
Rating: 10/10
Overall Model: 2/2
Parts Selection: 2/2
Color Scheme: 2/2
Function: 2/2
Alternate Models: 2/2

I would have to start out by saying this is one of the more interesting of the earlier town sets, partly in set due to the general uniquity of the model, and the apparent quantity of the ever elusive roofing elements that seem to be ninexistant in today’s so called “reflections” of the earlier town themes. This set, like many others of its genre truely captures the centerfold of the earlier town theme, nicely decorated with lots of detail, plenty of windows, and of course, plenty of basic bricks. When I first got a good look at this set, I was immediately surprised at the large amount of potential for such a small model, and since I’m usually hesitant about purchasing older sets, perticularly andthing outside castle or space, I was still drawn to buy it. In the long run, this is everything a town set should be, and meets my criteria for a Class A set, nice parts selection, plenty of basic bricks, great color scheme, and of course intrinsic alternate model potential. My overall take? If you see this set at an auction, buy it, even if you despise town. You would be surprised at the merits of getting such a set. Now, if only Lego Group would implement ideas such as this into their newer models...
