well, here's my 2 cents:
1) no one can own words. An artist (I forget her name)
presented Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities IN ITS ENTIRETY,
to make precisely that point. In the ensuing court battles,
she won. (no joke)
2) Model of the Month does not imply anything other than Model
of the Month. now if u called it Ldraw's Model of the Month....
that would be different, but you aren't.
3) There are tons of sites around w/ Model of the Month or whatever.
In fact, if we allow for Model of the Month to become an issue, then
conceivably someone could get on Tim's case for "Model of the"
if they had used those 3 words before somewhere, which inevitably
results in "the" becoming a point of contention.
Ridiculous? Ludicrous? I hope you find it so.
I'm tempted to add a Model of the Month to my own site,
and to ask a whole bunch of others to do so. Spreading
chaos ultimately illuminates the absurdity of all this.

| (...) FWIW, Model Railroader(tm) had a "Model of the Month" for many years, may still do for all I know (I'm no longer a subscriber). Not sure what that implies, just thought I'd throw it out as a perhaps useful bit of info. (22 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)

I simply made a polite request of someone and explained why I was making that reqest. Tobbe happened to accept (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)
