  SCORE!

First message! GardenSLUG is go, we had our meeting. When and where is the next one? Chris (24 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)

  Re: SCORE!

How about early fall? We 'll need to decide what we want to cover/do at the next meeting. Unfortunately I missed the first one so I don't know what you folks agreed on (other than our cool name of Gardenslug). Jeff "Christopher Weeks" (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)

  Re: SCORE!

(...) Well, we talked about meeting every six to nine weeks. That would point us at 9 September give or take. If I recall correctly Erik and LJ both suggested that they could host sometime (not that I'm trying to put a specific invite into anyone's (...) Hey, if you could WebCam it, I'd check in. ;) As far as a building pile or something like that, I'd be happy to contribute a few bucks to get something--although I do (...)   GardenSlug Meetings When/Where?

I checked my calendar. September was nearly full. We had talked about Sep 1-3 (Labor Day) but I found out I'm busy then. I'm available Aug 26-27, Sep 30 and Oct 7-8 plus all of October. Whether to have a meeting of GardenSLUG at my house some day: (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: GardenSlug Meetings When/Where?

(...) Until something comes up, I can make any of those days. (...) No sweat for me. I'm from the midwest where we view distance quite differently. (The 17 hour drive do my folks' house is no biggie, so two hours into The City is peanuts.) (...) But (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: SCORE!

I can also offer the finished basement of my family house, which could probably handle a meeting for about 8 people or so comfortably (less if they are all into trains :-), with a max of about 13. As far as that goes, I'm in central NJ, about 1 hour (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)

What did you do to them, steal all of the size-12 high heels in the city? ;) If I may indulge an Anglophile moment, only Westminster is usually referred to as "The City"--I'm not exactly (...)   Re: GardenSlug Meetings When/Where?

Hey Erik, I'm not real fond of going into The City, but if the directions are good, and I can use mass transit, then that improves the odds of my attending. :-) On the other hand, I don't know what kind of MOCs I'd be bringing on mass transit, (...)   Re: SCORE!

Hi Bianca, I doubt that I would have any problem with a dog wandering during our meeting, as long as he was reasonably well-behaved, and didn't enjoy eating Lego. I have a 110 pound dog myself, and enjoy having dogs around quite a bit. Other people (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)
