OK, make it so!  Actually, how does this work for a group?  I've done web
sites, but I was the only one responsible for them.  Is one or more of us • going
to work on it?  Should we dangle member pages from the home page?  Who and • how
are we handling the costs involved?  Is someone volunteering space?  What • about
for DN registration?

I'm not certain how we should handle this financially.  The fee to register
a domain name used to be $70 for the first two years.  A friend of mine had
offered us space back when I mentioned to him that we were forming a group.
I am in the process of contacting him to verify that his offer still stands.
Depending on the amount of space that we are allocated, I would at the very
least like to have some basic member pages, plus links to external personal
web pages, if needed or wanted.  Plus, having a newsletter page that gave
updates of events and meetings would help to promote a community feeling and
hopefully encourage other lurkers to join.

I'm still interested in participating with some group of people -- it • needn't
be everyone, so long as it doesn't take forever -- on buying some • clearance
sets and 'drafting' parts out as an alternative distribution method.  It • just
seems like a neat experiment as well as a good way for several people to • get
the stuff they want.

I would be interested in this, but one concern is what happens if everyone
wants the same subset of pieces?  How do we break a stalemate?  Otherwise,
I'm all in favor of expanding my collection through discount purchases...
