Just a thought and BTW the model didn't "suck".  I think we all improve over
time.  That doesn't mean that our older stuff is inferior though.

If you improve, then by default whatever you've improved on is inferior.
"Improvement" implies superiority.

Which, of course, doesn't mean that something "sucks", it just means it's
inferior.  If I say I think "The Empire Strikes Back" is an improvement on
"Star Wars", then I am implying that I think "Star Wars" is inferior to
"Empire".  That doesn't mean I wouldn't rather watch "Star Wars" than a heck of
a lot else.

I don't think Greg's model "sucks", either, but to say he's improved means that
things he's built before are (probably[1]) inferior to things he's building
now.  Which is.... just fine.  I built a castle when I was a kid that would
pretty clearly be inferior to just about any castle I built today- but I still
think the old one had some neat points to it[2].

[1] Anyone can have an off day, or have built a wicked cool model early in
their building career.

[2] Like the catwalk that went over the courtyard for no good reason, other
than for people to duel on.

(...) Greg, Just to help you prove the model is yours you may want to upload some other pictures of different angles of the model. That way there can be no doubt that it is yours (I personally believe you but TLC may want more proof than a picture (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)
