Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Reinhard "Ben" Beneke
It seems there is again a stolen picture to be voted as model of the month in the Theme Gallery on www.lego.com. (URL) builder of the number one model named as "Testarossa" has been Jonathan Stephenson, although he built it as a Corvette. I can't (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Rick Kujawa
From their rules: Pirated images (someone else's photo taken without permission) is cheating if submitted to the Web Club Gallery as your own. These types of behaviors will result in denying prospective or continued membership in the Club without (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Greg Majewski
(...) Has anyone else noticed the model currently in second place? That is *MY* Tango V, not a "space camper"! The web club really does need to be easily accessable. I am enraged, to put it nicely. I thank you tremendously for pointing this out! (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Greg Majewski
(...) I have also just now noticed that the 3rd place model is, too, indeed stolen! (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Rick Kujawa
3 are stolen? Thats terrible. We need someone or several of us to monitor this. (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Greg Majewski
(...) Right. We also need more than several of us to mail them at webclub@lego.com and tell them to abolish the process of sending images via the internet. (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Tamyra Teed
Actually, it looks like there are 4 stolen... Unless Scott Schuricht is 5 years old and from Vietnam, and put a (c) 1995 in his picture's upper left corner :( guess he built it in the womb???? if someone has his e-mail they might want to contact him (...)           Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Eric Kingsley
(...) I'm sorry but this is actually getting quite humorous. How long do you think the LEGO folks actually look at the pictures before they get put up for voting? I mean really this one takes the cake. Obviously the folks at LEGO really don't care (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Joel Kuester
(...) Exactly. You cannot (as far as I know) copyright an assembly of Lego, but a photograph that you took can be considered yours by law. example: Ansel Addams took many photographs of nature/landscapes in the black and white poster format.       (...) Also note that in second place in the builders gallery is the Indy Storm. Are the people who run this contest so STUPID that they can't spot a one year old set?           Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Eric Kingsley

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Fredrik Glöckner

Re: Stolen picture in Lego Theme Gallery? —Fredrik Glöckner
