Sounds like fun...

What is your name?

John Henderson, aka Hendo, Galactic Mediator, Pharaoh of ShipConia, Uniter
of the Two Systems, and All Around Cool Guy

How old are you?

30

What does real life mean for you?

This is a deep question, and I don't think I have the time or space to
answer it fully here.  Unless you are asking this in the sense of "what do
you do in real life?" in which case my answer is that I work as an Inventory
Analyst for a candle manufacturer, have a wonderful girlfriend, and enjoy
gaming, clubbing, hiking, drumming, and driving my MR2.

Do you have a sig Fig (post a pic, if you can)?

Been thinking about this, but haven't made one yet due in part to my poor
photography options.

What is the name of your fantasy world/country?

Valyance is the name of the world.  The nations that are involved in the
major stories include Billundia, Lortar, Formia and Darknia.  Generally, the
"good guys" are Billundian and many of the "bad guys" are Darknian.  But I
have a strange fondness for the villians I have developed, and thus as the
stories progress it often turns out that the Darknians are not all bad and
the Billundians are not all good.

Favorite Castle set?

Very tough choice.  I loved pretty much every TLC Castle set through until
after the Black Monarch era.  If I had to choose one, I would say that I
have a lot of nostalgia for the early catapult...

Favorite Personal MOC?

For Castle?  I really loved the first Keep of Bannenware (image not
currently available) that had the shaped turret.  It sat on display on my
shelf for a few years before I could get the nerve to change it.  For other
themes, I really like how I brought Castle to challenge the depths of Space
with the Wolfpack 2089's spaceship, Castle's Revenge...

Favorite Other MOC?
There are so many to chose from.  And I like so many for different reasons.
For Castle, I would have to say I have been most inspired by Anthony Sava's
work...

Although really, I cannot say that any single builder or MOC is my favorite
over all others.

What is a project you'd like to do but just don't have the bricks?

For Castle, I wish I had more green, blue, and brown to build landscapes
underneath my displays.  Currently, I use party-store table cloths (plastic,
available in various colors including a green similar to Lego Green, about 3
USD each).  It would be neat to have the terrain actually be brick.

What would you like TLG to do with the castle line?

Bring it back.  I like the non-fantasy sets such as those from 1984-1990ish.
It would be neat if they had a mini-fig set (similar to the one S@H has for
Town) that included 30+ figs and ranged from BF, Crusaders, Forestmen, and
Peasants.  As I see it, there are five sub-theme-types withing Castle:
Military/Nobility, Agrarian, Bourgeoisie, Rogue Society, and Fantasy
Characters.  TLC proved during the 1980's that they could do
Military/Nobility (Crusaders, BF, etc.) and they have done Rogue Society
(Forestment, Wolfpack) and Fantasy Characters (Fright Knights, Dragon
Masters).  Recent MOC villages, the MM, Legends, and Siskand's set are nice
examples of the Bourgeoisie.  But except for the odd horse cart set, I
really have not seen much in the way of Agrarian.  When you consider that
historically the majority of Medieval Europeans lived in rural villages, it
would be nice to have more peasants and farmers to have as a backdrop to the
other, more story-providing sub-themes.

well that's all. hopefully this will be fun and generate some cool discussion

Hope so.  :)
