YES.  I am interested.  I was at BrickFest with my NLS, Jackie.  I live in
Forked River, which is just south of Toms River, NJ.  I don't have too much
room to host any sort of gathering, and what I do have is usually overrun by
a large 95+ lb. loving puppy.  I'm glad that some one mentioned starting a
new LUG in this area.  I was tossing the idea around, but I'm kind of new to
the Lego scene, and didn't think I had enough background yet.  I'd love to
discuss this... Anyone else out there interested?

Subject: Is there interest in a new LUG?

Hi All,

I returned yesterday evening from the EastCoast Brick Fest put on by • WAMALUG.
It was cool.  It appears that there are quite a few folks around who are • LEGO
enthusiasts, and I thought it might be nice to put some kind of club • together
for semi-regular events.

Who is interested?  I am imagining this to be for people centered on the
wideish corridor between NYC and Philly.  I am in central New Jersey.  I • know
there are at least four of you out there who are also in my rough area. • There
were people from near Tom's River in DC this weekend.  There are probably
bunches in NYC and Philly, but I'm only thinking of a couple in NYC and • one in
Philly, off-hand.

What would it be called?  NJLUG would be OK, but I don't at all want to • exclude
anyone else who want's to participate.  Also, the LUG names have so far • been
pretty utilitarian and geographic, it wouldn't need to be.

Well, let me know if there's any interest or if I'm missing something. • And if
you are interested, let me know what you think such an organization should • do.

Chris
