Possible and future revisions

An overlook

It should be said that nobody can write a classic novel in one day, or at least, finish a large and ambitious project within a week. It’s a continual process which could spread for weeks, months and in some instances, years. For the last year, I’ve gradually compiled information about my writings, musings and other nonsense for the lugnet (and other curious onlookers) to read, and will continue to do so for the next year, perhaps even further. The process of writing is sometimes self-generative. You have one idea and it either spreads like wildfire or burns into its own ravine. If the latter occurs, you’re forced to rekindle the flame, sparking ambition, which is a fine quality.

This site is a rekindling of a flame, an evolution over years of writing short stories. In its own respect, it serves as an informative source of biology, technology, culture and history of a literary world known affably as Anachronistic Skies.

And for the progression and construction of any world, a sense of direction is necessitated. Hence, this page.

With some knowledge of the humanities I have began to culminate (incredible, how all of my college courses are so directly influencing my writing and outlook on life), the society within Albatross may itself become the reflection of a viable, convincing culture.

Summer, 2003

I have aspirations of using the negligable time I have left to update several important sections which have not yet been covered. These include, but are not limited to:
  • Journal section
  • character’s description (merged with profiles)
  • location (cities, religious sites, settlements)
  • story illustrations (important)
  • additional surveys
  • a few more poems,
  • chapter two,
  • bestiary/ species list (w reference charts)
  • miitary technology
  • Anachronistic terms page
  • Humanities of Albatross (philosophies, social constructs, pop culture)
A journalistic section on behalf of Rezka or myself might approach within the time frame as well.

In a realistic perspective, finishing everything within several months or even a year isn’t likely, but is a notable (and noble) cause.

Autumn

Here’s a speculative context for you. completing all of the below in a dfinitive period of time. I don’t currently have a production schedule for my project, but with a story class in progress, this is definitely on my itinerary.
  • essays
  • more poetry
  • chapter three/ four
  • chapters seven/ eight and possibly nine
  • famous events, conflicts
  • biology of the Albatross
  • geology of Albatross
  • alchemistry (?)
  • theology (interpretations)
  • astral/chronology
  • politicking information
  • theories
  • culture/ traditiona of Albatross
  • market venues and products
Hindsight

Please realize that the aforementioned plan is a rather rough and aggressive approach to completing my storyline and may be unrealistic in prospect. Nonetheless, the above is rather a checklist and not a governance to my progress.
