I got this part in a big lot of train bits.

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=109497

I tried looking it up on Partsref and Peeron with no luck. It doesn't even
have a part #. The only reference it has on it is 2-01 on the bottom (unless
that is the #, but I tried it also no luck). Anyone know? I ass-umed it was
from a train 'cause everything else in the lot was. It had 2 4.5 motors in
with the lot.

(...) Maybe Ben B. knows what it is... but to me there wasn't enough there to work with. Can you post a somewhat bigger pic and maybe a pic of the other side? Are those studs on the inside or what? Thanks! (22 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)
