I was planning to release some custom craftmans kits for the Metroliner. But now with the pending release of the Legend version, I'm not sure it will generate more or less of a demand. Certainly the pricing from what I had in mind will be lower. The cars/wagons I had in mind were a 2nd class coach, a dining car, a sleeper car, and a RPO/combination coach car. Currently, the production are 80-90% done and release can be a month away. The kits uses all new parts and has somewhere between 200-250 pieces each. Some details differences are the use of stickers for the doors and plain bricks instead of grille bricks for the diaphragm, otherwise the parts are faithful to the original with the two tone roof, wagon plates, windows, etc. Now the question is, would anyone be interested in these kits if they were made available? and if so, what would be the price you expect the kits to cost? I bought a Bricworx coach even though it's not really my cup of tea, and I have a Chessie from way way back when Steve was selling (...) I'd probably be interested in all of them, as I was working on a 25-car Metroliner (I'd split it into 2 trains normally), and wanted a variety of cars. Depending on the design, I'd probably pay up to $40. And if you could leave out some bricks for (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

I wish to thank everyone for their support and comments. It looks like there is enough interest and encouragement to proceed.
