  Re: input used as output

(...) Have a look at the book "The Unofficial Guide to LEGO Mindstorms" from Knudsen / Noga published by O'Reilly. ( there may be other sources, but that is mine ) My book is translated to german (and published in the year 2000) so the following is (...) (19 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Is there a NQC HowTo out there someplace?

I was in the same situation as you when I started out with NQC and I found the following resources helpful... Programming Lego Robots using NQC by Mark Overmars is a good tutorial...I probably used it the most to learn the basics of NQC... (...) (21 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

(...) References for "classic" C programming are getting rather scarce, but the top hit on google for "c++ tutorial", www.cplusplus.com looks like a good place to start.   Re: New Syngress RIS 2.0 Book!

I did a little review of the "10 Cool Projects" book from Syngress for the Dark Side Developers kit (DSDK) a little while ago. I suppose I should supply another review for the newer book based on the RIS V2.0 kit. Here goes: "10 COOL LEGO Mindstorms (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-02, to lugnet.books, lugnet.robotics)

O'Reilly book update: free online building instructions

Hello, The Minerva robot, from _The Unofficial Guide to LEGO MINDSTORMS Robots_, has been redesigned for RIS 1.5. Because RIS 1.5 has fewer gears than RIS 1.0, Minerva cannot be built with the parts from RIS 1.5 alone. The redesigned robot, Mineva (...)
