I feel helpless and shocked as I hear of the horrors today.

I'm speechless...  my tears and sympathy for the huge many involved.

I see that some of us have begun to use this message site for communications
and news related to the tragedies. I am fully supportive of this for as long as
it can help.

Thanks Suz, I think we figured it was ok, but it's good to know. Just giving some perspective as how this is affecting our country: In Chicago most major buildings have closed as a precaution. For those looking for news with all of the regular news sites under a huge load you can try (as strange as it sounds) (URL) They are a sports news organization but they have been covering this story for a while now. I am also shocked when I saw the horrible news this afternoon on the german TV. I feel very bad, regarding the thousands of people how have suffered from that terroristic act and for the future of our world wide piece and freedom ... It's a shame (...) Everyone, I am in utter shock, I would cry but I have a job to do. We here at Voicestream are doing everything we can to bolster our network to allow calls to go thru. This is aweful. I count my lucky stars I came home yesterday. My flight flew past (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people)
