I especially enjoy trains and monorails.  I have always loved trains, but
the O gauge required too much room and too much patience to keep them running.
So Lego trains have been the perfect solution for me.

Right, in exchange for the totally ridicuously tight/unrealistic curvature, we
get layouts that can fit on card tables. Not a bad trade. O scale curves need
to be 48 radius or bigger to look good. I find LEGO(tm) trains ideal for me (Ex
HO modeler) as I am too fat fingered to treat HO gently enough for it to be
reliable.

I have been reading the net pages and was confused by the term point.  I
think I figured out from context that it is the British term for switch.  Is
there any place with a glossary of terms for model railroaders?

There is a partly done glossary at my web site... surf to
http://my.voyager.net/lar/gloss.html

I welcome requests for additional definitions. Send email to my CTP address, or
post here

My family found it on clearance sale at the Walmart in Evergreen, Colorado.

Hm... where is Evergreen in relation to Denver?? Hmm! 15 miles from Lakewood. I
feel a road trip coming on this weekend. :-)

Hello, I have been a Lego maniac for years, with the excuse to buy all those sets for my kids. Now they are into older things and I have had to admit I am a Lego maniac myself. The kids have graciously turned all sets over to me. I have been amazed (...) (26 years ago, 11-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)
