| | Many topics are forbidden in Sea Monkey culture, but none are more taboo than the Forsaken. Also known as the Forgotten ones, these are the rogue Wise Ones. Sea Monkeys that have made the transition to the crystal, but who have become corrupt, hateful, and rebellious. Forsaken Wise Ones are crystals that glow yellow with evil, rather than the silver of the Sea Monkey Wise Ones. When crystals take this color, priests of the temple immediately take them far from the other Wise Ones before their thoughts can corrupt.When Forsaken Wise Ones bud, their offspring are virtually indistinguishable from other Sea Monkeys. However, they are filled with the same malice as the crystals which spawn them. In order to shield their thoughts from the Sea Monkeys, the Forsaken wear black helmets (pictured left)that keep thier thoughts from the Sea Monkeys but still allow them to communicate with one another.
