Home of the fan created Sea Monkeys LEGO® theme.

Who are the Sea Monkeys? The Sea Monkeys are a fan created LEGO subtheme centered in the aquazone world. This is the under-water world with jagged cliffs first seen in Aquazone posters. By combining my love of biology and LEGO, this site will attempt to bring a new alien species to life in the LEGO universe.

Why are they called ‘Sea Monkeys’? Sea Monkeys communicate telepathically amongst each other (see Physiology). However, they find that humans regard mind reading as intrusive and rude. Subsequently, they wear special devices to make thier thoughts audible. Many Sea Monkey concepts are impossible to translate, so the human phrase is often used. Hydronauts have joked that this species looks like the old earth Sea Monkey advertisements. Not understanding the reference, the term was used thereafter.
