Cairn Firriney (meaning fort truth) and is both the headquarters and the name for the Rebellion against the Lonsans.

The Firriney Philosophy:

Mel Kian Gxi is the nominal leader of the rebellion, but he only accepts command over military matters. The Firriney rebellion isn’t just a fight against foreign rulers, but against the mindsets that enslave the Caeric people from within. Firriney outright denies any authority that does not flow out of the individual Caer, and therefore Kian has declined to be a social or political leader. Firriney is not an organization or a clan, its a union of individuals, an alliance of independent people, whose fight is the same: the fight for complete, and true freedom.

The Founding Individuals of Cairn Firriney:

Firriney Leaders
Starting from the bottom left and arching around: It is the famous archer “Blackhand” Gowny, swordsman Jubin, battleaxe-woman Tonia, Kian Gxi, and axeman Bodei.

Cairn Firriney

The fort itself is hidden in one of the thick forests of Copecaer. Rather than a traditional Caeric cairn (similiar to the one around Glen Caer), Firriney is mostly underground, and the rest is heavily camoflauged. (If anyone cares to notice, this is Set 6066, which is my favorite set.)

The Firriney Revolution has invited any Caer who does not wish to live in servitude to the Lonsans to come and live amongst “the free.” A rather large amount of people have moved to Cairn Firriney, mostly fellow Wolf Clan and Shivans, but several Abhavans have also come. Those who come to Firriney usually build traditional Caeric huts, such as this one:

Until now, the Firriney have been on the fringes of society, but with the death of the Emporer, it is clear that the Empire is starting to crack. The Caers are eager to be free again, and the Firriney are eager to lead them.
