THE BATTLE OF KYAMITSU: 39 Qd. 900
Mel Sesoly was sent to Kyamitsu by Dokeste to meet with Miyamoto. Mel Sesoly brought along thirteen warriors to accompany him if Miyamoto was not friendly. Dokeste sent Sesoly hoping to make an agreement with the Qi Melkya about a possible qurlitay and the Lonsans.
However as Mel Sesoly approached Kyamitsu in the afternoon he failed to raise a flag of truce, instead brandishing his battle colors. Miyamoto interpreted this as an act of war and readied his troops for battle.

| | As the two armies reached a reasonable distance the generals tried to yell to the other to lower their weapons. Neither did. Miyamoto began urging more troops to the field, so Sesoly decided to attack while the Zin were still weakened.
|
| Sesoly led his men on a direct attack against the mostly Tiezin swordsmen. Zuozin ninja also joined the fray.

|
| | When the Zuotei reached the battlefield, Miyamoto on horseback, ordered the Tiezin to retreat to either side of the Zuotei, thus exposing Sesolys center.
|
| When the Tiezin were out of the way, Miyamoto ordered his riflemen to fire a volley into the Blue Dragons. The blast was so powerful that many were pushed to the ground, even those unharmed by the shots. Four Abhavan warriors fell dead, and their brothers confused by the firepower, bucked and ran. Sesoly, unable to keep his men fighting followed them.

The Blue Dragons retreat. Miyamoto, amazed by the success of the rifles, orders Mel Tetsin to pursue Sesoly and hopefully finish them off. This would give Miyamoto a secure footing in continental politics and sway over the clans.
