Kasketuan Ganmeadie Tribunal

Issue No. 6, Vol. 3018, year 208.

High ranking government official defers!

A high ranking government official of the Kasketuan military tribune has recently deferred from government operations and is believed to be travelling the country after a deadly slew of assassinations and information theft.

Sergio F. Aurant, an ex-spy and soldier for the Kasketuan Tribunal, who had devoted ten years to governmental affairs is suspected in a rash of killings of government agents, namely in the slaying of Atkins R. Garrent, and three other agents, after an encounter outside the tribunal office, pending internal investigation into Senator Aurant’s dealings with the Lucarian government beforehand.

Apparently distressed by an ongoing suspicion of government overlooking of his affairs, and denials of his guilt, Aurant is reported to have allegedly drawn a gun after a confrontation in front of his wife and daughter, killing several agents, then taking flight from the scene via hovercar. It is not known if Aurant has deferred to the Lucarian coalition, however authorities have recently noticed missing files from the archival office where Senator Aurant once worked. It is thought that Aurant’s views were flamboyant, after several unbridled outbursts in the Tribunal Conciliate, concerning government suppression of unalienable rights. Although Kasketua is not technically a democracy, it is believed Aurant is a threat to the coalition, and any sightings should be reported to the tribunal. An undisclosed reward will be offered to apprehension of the deferrant, so the public is encouraged to remain vigilant.

IRLCC Internal Management Memorandum To: Chief Militant advisor, Fr. Sergio F. Aurant

We’ve had recent reports of militant presence by the Kasketuans around the borders by the Vitriol sea, about 20 sectas south of the Arterian Horizon. Upon further investigation of these claims, we have verified presence to be Kasketuan military, but we have yet to identify which faction, and the reason beyond this assimilation. Although they are not technically within our border zone, the militants are close enough to Lucarian presence to pose a considerable threat, so further investigation is mandated. We’ll get back to you on more diagnostics.
