It is the late 22nd Century. Recent advances in genetic enginnering have enabled the design and production of countless exotic new mass-market pets and other “made to order” hybrids for persons or businesses with special needs.
Since the Genetics Freedom Act of 2168, the markets for illegally cloned creatures and illegally produced gene-altering drugs, once separate, have become inextricably adjoined. G-shops thrive on all continents, including the Antarcticas.
In 2182, a renegade militia group gained control of a small private genetic research outpost, Dinotronix Research, Inc., which had been secretly experimenting with dinosaur DNA and had succeeded in resurrecting four dinosaur species.
These great beasts, it soon became clear, possessed orders of intelligence far superior to those of their extinct ancestors, due to a genetic modification enabled by a key Dinotronix patent. So began several years of reengineering and training for high-stakes combat.
Tough begat tougher, rough begat rougher.
The year is now 2187. Six riley gargantua and their tempestuous owner-riders are ready to make their marks upon the world. Little has yet been foretold what destiny awaits these noxious instruments of disaster....
