Boston & Maine GP9 Bluebird

See Version 2!

This is my first attempt at a LEGO engine. I have attempted to model a Boston & Maine GP9 in the Bluebird paint scheme. I am still waiting for some part so I can finish the trucks and there are a few details that I am not real happy with and will probably be changing.

I found that selective compression with locomotives can be extremely chalanging but for the first try I think it looks OK.

Well the heading says just about everything. I have included comments on a temporary LUGNET page I have set up. As it says on the page I am waiting on parts to finish the trucks and I am considering some other changes. (URL) always please let me (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

Although it is not prototypical I am considering changing the side window to White instead of Black. I just think it would look better here.

I’m also not real happy with the area just above the LOGO. It just sticks up to high but I can’t figure out how to fix it at the moment (Suggestions are welcome)
