I guess I should post this to RTL first, but I thought I'd try it
hear...

On PNLTC, there's a Chessie Caboose.  I'm guessing that stickers
were used on the caboose... Now, I've just recently gotten into
trains (so I know very little and next to nothing about model
trains) & I'm wondering that if I go into a train store, what
gauge of train stickers should I ask for to use with LEGO trains?

Next, I'm wondering if anyone has instructions to build the
Chessie Caboose?

Any help would be appreciated!
-- Mike.

Mike - You'd probably be real close if you looked for O scale decals. I've seen other LEGO train-heads use Kadee O scale couplers instead of the standard cylindrical magnets, and they seem to apply nicely to the existing LEGO train scale. Perhaps O (...) (26 years ago, 6-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

Michael, I used dry transfer decals for my steam engine ((URL) You can find these at most train hobby stores. A word of caution though, they are not easy to put on. And, it's going to put a foreign substance on your LEGO bricks. I'm not sure what (...) (26 years ago, 7-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

Hi All, This is the first chance I had to get onto this news group. My company has firewalls and really doesn't like too much personal use on the web... Anyway, I used the wet version of the train decals. I like the way you can slide them around (...) (26 years ago, 8-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)
