Really? From the looks of the marketplace, it appears to me that Thomas is
virtually ubiquitous and that licensing wouldn’t be a problem at all.

From our (NILTC) work with them and having talked to Ill Railway Museum
officials about their Thomas show the group that holds the licence is VERY
difficult to work with. One would think with the money problems Lego is having
that they have better things to do. But then they never do what I think is right
anyway so who knows...
