Wow, what a turnout of SHIPs at BrickCon 2015. I counted 28 SHIPs in the display this year, and of this set 17 of them were SHIPtember projects. What is SHIPtember? I'm glad you asked. (...) Thanks! I didn't get LDCCset up at the show--I lost the RCX firmware. Derek brought in a USB tower but Sunday was pretty busy so I let the monorails run off a regular train controller for the day. I'll probably get the layout LDCC'ed for the (...) (...) Picked some up today and have been experimenting--as of now, the wire brushes are better--the bogey doesn't accomodeate the shoes nicely without some heavy mods... i'll keep playing. though! I did forget to mentinon ,though you can see it in the pics on Flickr, that the brushes for the power pickup almost make the monorail run in 1 direction only-just like the slot cars... if the monorail runs the other way, the brushes will get (...) But I'll try copper taping one soon--there's somethign niggling in my mind that if you left the transformer on full in one direction, that the monorail switch would work as (...)
