Having to trouble shoot a Dell Inspiron 1100 not booting up cleanly. An alarm goes off and it goes to safe boot mode. I am running the original Home version of XP without updates and RoboLab 2.94. Answer: It is simple: I used the prolific usb to serial adapter, configured the Serial communication to 9600,8,n,xon/xoff , took a NULL-Modem Serial Cable and linkt pin 4 and 6 on the 9-pin connector together. Did anyone answer this for you? I am not an expert by any means but here’s my opinion. No and Yes (maybe). As it comes in the box there is not a power jack so… No. If you buy the battery pack and charger, you could theoretically have it plugged in (...) (9 years ago, 5-Dec-14, to lugnet.robotics)

I'm trying to install NXT software on a new machine from the NXT 2.0 CD, and from reading around it sounds like there have been some updates. Unfortunately, the Lego site only has EV3 software. You can find pages that talk about the NXT software, (...) (10 years ago, 2-Apr-14, to lugnet.robotics)
