Possible Lego Display July 3, 2004

I've been asked if I could organize a "Lego Display" for a local festival whose planning committee I am on. The festival runs over the 4th of July weekend, and the display is currently sceduled for Saturday, July 3, 2004. Approximate timeframe would (...)   Re: How about doing some building?

Hey Bram! I don't think I ahve any plans for the weekend, but my house isn't really setup for gatherings anymore. :( (Damn store taking up the basement!) Perhaps Adrian is willing to host?   How about doing some building?

Anyone have plans for this weekend (or weekday afternoons could work too)? I'm leaving on vacation the 21st or 22nd...it'd be nice to get together before then. --Bram (2 URLs) Bram Lambrecht (URL) www.bldesign.org> (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.org.us.bloc, lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle, FTX)

Crossposting this for Gino...I dunno how often he reads LUGNET, so if you can help him out, it might be best to email him. Adrian, Troy, Ken, and I already have full cars and rooms. Good luck, Gino. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-03, to lugnet.org.us.bloc, lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle)

(...) A little late, but I like it too. BTW, I notice a few of the Clevelander's are registered for BrickFest. Would anyone be interested in carpooling and/or sharing a room? I'd like to attend, but I don't think I can budget it without sharing some (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.org.us.bloc)

(...) If you get it to me too when final (with a URL to point to), I can get it up on the B.I. Portal, if you like. Jake --- Jake McKee Webmaster - B.I. Portal (URL) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.org.us.bloc)

  88x31 Button

Here's what I came up with as a button for the club: (URL) no one has any objections or better ideas, I'll send it to Christina to post on the BrickFest page. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu www.bldesign.org (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.org.us.bloc)

  Re: Broadband ISPs

(...) I've got DSL. Apk.net is my ISP, SBC is the provider. 768/128 download/upload. I'm very happy with the service, and I very infrequently have downtime. $50 a month. The only downside to Cable is that you're sharing bandwidth with everyone else (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle, lugnet.org.us.bloc)

  Re: Broadband ISPs

We use Adelphia Cable here. If it's available in your area, I recommend it. Upload is only about 128k, but download is incredibly fast. I average around 2.5Mbit and have seen it go up as high as 4Mbit. And I usually leave it downloading 24/7. Troy (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle, lugnet.org.us.bloc)
