We use Adelphia Cable here.  If it's available in your area, I recommend it.
Upload is only about 128k, but download is incredibly fast.  I average
around 2.5Mbit and have seen it go up as high as 4Mbit.  And I usually leave
it downloading 24/7.

Hey all,
I want to convice my mom to buy cable or DSL since I'm going to be living • at
home for a year.  What ISP do you use to connect to the internet?  How • much do
you pay?  What download/upload speeds do you get?  Are you happy with the
service?
Thanks,
