Well, I was bored one Sunday evening and rather than do some more Economics
study, I had a bash at working out the proportions of a classic 2x4 brick.
Would this help?
Taking a base unit as the thickness of a tile (I ignored the studs and
concentrated on the body of the bricks) a 2x4 brick is 3 tiles high, 5 wide
and 10 long. The gap in between studs is 1 tile, and each stud is more or
less 1.5 tiles wide. The thickness of the ABS is about 0.5 tiles.
I also worked out the thickness of plastic of the tubular bits on the
bottom, but I can't remember them!
