Hi everyone!

This has just crossed my mind right now.  I'm curious to see who is complete
in collecting Lego themes?  Meaning, who has every set in any of the
following categories:

1) Town
2) Castle
3) Pirates
4) Trains
5) Space
6) Technic

Those are basically the main themes.  Does anyone have every set to any of
these themes?

Just curious! :-)

(...) Well, I'm Arctic-complete if that counts :] I'm one set short of being Divers-complete. I'm a few sets short of Star Wars complete by choice and will stay that way. I think I'm Adventurers("Egypt")-complete too, I'll have to check. Wow! An (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) It's a little tricky to define completeness, but by reasonable qualifications, I'm Wild West complete. By stretched qualifications I'm Pirate complete (but I don't consider myself to be Pirate Complete). What I mean by reasonable completeness (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) I have all of the Throwbots. Well, all of the building sets, I didn't bother getting <set:8508 the extra disks>. But I do have one of each character. I would also like to own a complete set of RoboRiders and Bionicle, but I can't find (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) I define "complete" as meaning that you have all the sets and all the service packs released for a particular theme, but not necessarily every variant of a set or every promo that used pieces from the theme (thus, you wouldn't have to have (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

Hi, I'm "Pirate" complete! In fact I'm almost complete times two with the pirates! I'm only lacking duplicates of a few smaller sets. I even have the pirate keychain! As for the subthemes, I'm "forestmen" complete including the dark forest sets! I (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

well, my bro and i bought just about every CS set until about 1987 so we're prolly almost complete there... as for my own collection, i'm trying to buy the one/two/few sets that i like in EACH theme as opposed to having a complete set of any theme. (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)
Re: What themes are people complete in?

(...) I am complete in the Adventurers Amazon sub-theme, in that I have all the sets and instructions. I still have the boxes though they have been opened so that I could build the models. Of course, this is one of the smaller sub-themes and also (...) (23 years ago, 8-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) I'm about 95% Castle-sets-I-want complete... Does that count? ;) (meaning I've got one or more of just about every castle set I'm interested in) James (who has no tendencies in the completist direction *at all*) (23 years ago, 8-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)
