  Bulk Sale Prices

Since we don't yet have any idea about what the LEGO Direct Bulk Sales policy is all about, I did want to mention a few things. One is that we shouldn't expect any great bargains in purchasing via bulk orders. I don't think TLC is going to undercut (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bulk Sale Prices

(...) I would have to agree with you on this one. I don't expect to get any real bargans because if things are to cheap there will be little to no incentive for us to buy sets. I am hoping for some sort of declining scale though so that the more you (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bulk Sale Prices

(...) I definitely agree with the above... I think that any savings to be had via bulk orders will come from the fact that you're not buying 20 sets to get 100 of one type of piece-- and I think a lot of people (like myself) WANT to go out and buy (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) fingers crossed for a little bit more. Such as: Train Windows - I don't use them, I don't need them. But I bet that the enormous PR and good will that the Train folks have generated with TLC will earn them the right to get train windows as a (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) That actually isn't too bad compared to some auctions. Although I think 5 cents would be plenty for 1x1 plates. (...) I wouldn't expect them to have special parts available to begin with, so that is a perfect incentive to get sets. I would (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bulk Sale Prices

(...) Not this castle fan. If I have the option of ordering wall pieces or ordering bricks and arches, the bricks and arches will win every time. James (URL) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) majority of us would get the wall pieces. I think it'd be cheaper, and for me, that makes a big difference. Jeff (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) I'm a Town person, but I guess this must be the Castle version of the "Juniorization" argument. Castle Junior? :-) Gary Istok (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bulk Sale Prices

(...) Heh... Not really. I like the wall pieces too; 6080 is my favorite castle, not least because it has 30(!) of these... But there's only so many of them I can use... (last count put me (and my wife) at (well) over 100 grey, over 50 black and (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
