  Intro Sector Idea

In a recent email, player James Howse suggested the idea of a beginner's guide and/or intro-sector. Inspired by this latter thought, I've started thinking about how an intro-sector would work. For starters... • This could be a sector moderated by (...) (17 years ago, 11-Dec-06, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

(...) Thanks for this Richard! ...I have updated the links to the registry on the main site. I will also work on updating the craft (i.e. non-ship) page in the near future. -GM Hendo (URL) (17 years ago, 11-Dec-06, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

Registry Gazette - new url for worthy, if dusty, tome

Hey there starshippers, All good from the Registry side. FYI, what with OzBricks being a bit uppy/downy for a while there, Port Block Yards (including the registry) is now at www.portblockyards.com. ie (URL) I am making updates now as per (...)   Hello

Hello, I've been dropping in on the starship homepage every once in awhile. Been meaning to sign up, but I don't have my brickshelf page up just yet. Thought I'd express some interest in joining you all whilst I whittle down the starship (...) (17 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

  Re: Starship Interest

(...) I actually received bounce-backs on my email from at least 15 addresses. So please please please let me know if you missed it but want in on our talks outside of Lugnet. Also, if you know of any updated addresses for known participants, let me (...) (17 years ago, 25-Nov-06, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

  Starship Interest

Galactic Greetings! I am in the process of compiling a list of who is interested in discussing the status of Starship and evaluating interest. I already emailed all of those who have previously been involved or expressed interest. If you have not (...) (17 years ago, 25-Nov-06, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

Re: Ashrak class frigate, Cratha frigate

(...) I once wrote an (URL) article on greebling>, that is now hosted over at classic-space. Perhaps it can be of use to you? Still, what you have there looks like a great beginning! On to the ship. I think it has plenty of merits - the engine pods (...) (18 years ago, 27-Aug-06, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

Re: Ashrak class frigate, Cratha frigate

(...) I have been surprised in the past at just what an art form greebling is; I learned this the hard way when trying to do greebling in the past. Bit by bit I shall do more and more greebling until I can greeble competently. (...) Yah, this turns (...) (18 years ago, 25-Aug-06, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

In lugnet.announce.moc, Avery Christy wrote: <snip> (...) I likes it! ...Actually I think your use of non-tire engines is impressive. I too love the tire-engine and hub-engine concept, but it has been used a lot. Another thing I like about this ship (...) (18 years ago, 24-Aug-06, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

  Ashrak class frigate, Cratha frigate

Well, this project is a culmination of several things. First, I wanted to try out some ideas for some upcoming projects; Second, I finally got around to building a serious capital vessel for my Starship gaming characters (although she is only 70 (...)   Galactic Communications

Greetings! Judging by the lack of activity in this group, I'd say that travel and communication over billions of miles of space certainly takes a long time. Yup. Starship: the Real Time RPG... HAHA!   Re: Some ground vehicles to be seen in Starship RPG

(...) I do not mean to be negative about anyone else, but I think NOT seeing the possibilities with BTR as a lack of imagination. The first moment I saw those sets and parts, my mouth dropped open as I was struck with a torrent of possibilities. (...)   Re: Some ground vehicles to be seen in Starship RPG

(...) Wow! I am of course a big fan of clone-based MOCs, but my own designs tend to be Mega Bloks-only. Your creations do a great job of mingling various brands, and MOCs with BTR elements are extremely rare. Part of that is because BTR never quite (...)
