I was browsing through eBay this evening, and lo, there was a 6075
Yellow Castle. Hmm, well, go take a look, hey, the seller is in
Greensboro NC (about an hour away). Well, lets check his feedback, hmm,
looks pretty good, might be worth a bid. Wait, what is that, a "buy now
for $150"... hmm, lets see, is it worth that to me. Well, 14 minifigs at
at least $4 per so that's $60. Hmm, almost 800 parts so that's $80 or so
at 10 cents a part (of course that double counts the minifigs, but then
there are other good parts also). A little soul searching.... SOLD...
I hope I don't regret my impulse. Unfortunately no instructions or box,
but then what interests me most is just having the set. It would be nice
to have a box and instructions also, but soon (baring any snafus), I'll
be among the ranks of Yellow Castle owners.
It does leave me curious what it would have fetched without the "Buy
Now" option. This is the 2nd time I've done that (the first was the
other day when I saw a lot of printed parts which I quickly decided
would go for more than the "buy now" price.
Now I may have to get serious about being "major castle complete"
(having each of the large main castle sets).

| Well!!! Inspired by Frank's plunge, I decided to take one of my own when I saw a Guarded Inn on Ebay just two seconds ago. Only at $74.00! I decided to bid $125. But, somebody else wants it more than me! I was already outbid. *sigh* I'll just have (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)
