I was able to get the links to work if I added "/images" before the part
number and changed the "jpg" to "gif"

I think you got caught by the move. No doubt the old URLs were good when
you composed your note but they are not any more. They all have moved to
Lugnet.

Specifically, to here:

Here's the start of the discussion:

This post:
http://www.lugnet.com/cad/dev/?n=3389

claims that links of the form:
http://lugnet.com/cad/ldraw/parts/ref/images/2635.gif (not .jpg)

should work... but I tried that one and it didn't. (yes, it did. I was
using jpg... was there a change from jpg to .gif?? or did you use jpg
when you meant to say gif or something else...)

I certainly would be keen to help you out with what you want (I WANT
those tires and wheels you're dangling under my nose, don't you know),
but I'm too lazy to fix all those URLs up myself, or track down what the
problem is. Crossposted to cad.dev to bring it to the attention of those
that mioght now what the deal is. FUT back to BST? I dunno. So I didn't
set the FUT.

Hi, everyone:

I need the following parts (as hinted in lugnet.general):

http://home.att.net/~partsref/2635.jpg (in white, one or two)
http://home.att.net/~partsref/2641.jpg (one pair in grey, from the
soccer set)
http://home.att.net/~partsref/2681.jpg (one or two, black)

I still need the following:
http://home.att.net/~partsref/images/2638.gif (Crane top, grey only)
http://home.att.net/~partsref/images/2636.gif (2x) (Crane sides, grey
only)

I have virtually anything you could want, as all of these are
important--including the big old Technic wheels, Classic Space,
Blacktron-I, and some Imperial Guards.  Please help me out here--I can
make some *very* favourable trades, or cash payments.

many thanks in advance,

Lindsay
