  Writing A Proposal

I just borrowed this book from my local library. I haven't gone through every bit, but so far it's extremely helpful -- speaking here as one who's never written an official proposal. (at least not yet) Proposal Planning and Writing, second edition (...) (24 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.cad.datfest, lugnet.publish, lugnet.edu)

  LDraw CD-ROM Update

Greetings I've been discussing LDraw CD-ROM issues with Don Heyse, Stephen Bissell, and Steve Bliss over the past couple weeks. Don just sent me a master CD-R in the mail of what we have so far. As of now, install files and HTML pages need to be (...) (24 years ago, 7-May-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.datfest) !

(...) Great! (...) No problem - family and work come first :) (...) Thanks. As of now (even when waiting for a facility) we can get started making the cirriculum and organizing the event schedule. Promotional literature could be made too so long as (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.datfest)

(...) Tim, I don't think you would have to worry about a NELUG display. I definitly think we can do something whether it's the current Castle Display a revival of the Star Wars display or something entirely different I am sure we can come up with (...) (...) I know the name and number of the person in charge of lending bulk. I also know of a source, related to the Lab, which I think is a good bet for borrowing. I don't expect any purchasing would be necessary. I'll keep quiet for now, waiting (...) (24 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.datfest)

  Re: .datFest Update

Suz, Another quick thing I forgot to mention is, where to get bricks. Ideally we should have a play area with several thousand bricks. Do you know the best way to get that volume? We could purchase some sets and break them up ourselves, or go to TLG (...) (24 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.datfest)

  Re: .datFest Update

(...) Yeah. But at this point of the game there really isn't a springboard to base those efforts from. At this point, though, the people interested in helping would be: Tom (tomkmit@aol.com) Zlatko Unger Chris Thompson you? (...) Hmmm... In what (...) (24 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.datfest)

  .datFest Update

Greetings Just thought I'd give a little update on 'progress' on .datFest. In reality, there hasn't been any. The last place I talked to for sponsorship/hosting was the Boston Museum of Science. The good news is they said they would look into it, (...) (24 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad.datfest, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
