(...) You lost me there. How could you not know which is which if they already go in the opposite direction? Just take a cross product at the topmost point. If it's negative, then it's clockwise and thus a hole. Don (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas, FTX)

(...) OK. My edges already were counterclockwise. :) Umm, for inside outlines (inlines?) to be clockwise, that's 'clockwise' from a global view, right? If so, then my inlines are already clockwise. (...) I'd imagine so. I don't actually use Cygwin. I use the (URL) mingw> version of gcc on Windows because I don't want to worry about the Cygwin unix compatibility DLL. (...) I've been messing around with a rendered scene for a music CD-R. I'm really happy with how it turned out, so I thought I'd share it. I downloaded copies of LDraw and MLcad a few days ago, and I've been building digital versions of a few of my models, but I ran into a couple of problems: 1. I've been working on a castle tower for which I need a spiral staircase. Unfortunately, I sold off my HP sets that had the prefab spiral staircase parts, so I had to come up with something myself. I' built a similar bot, but the wheels are free-turning. Additionaly, the wheels are pressed down, so that they always have contact to the floor. Hi I saw in the LEGO Mindstorms Web Page that many people made their robots with 2 motors go straight using one rotation sensor on each wheel and stopping the correct motor until both sensors were equal.
