8462 Tow truck modifications
I thought I’d re-vamp the tow truck, to make it suitable for Australian conditions. Here’s what I’m doing:
- Move steering wheel to the RIGHT side
- Flip towbar lifting pneumatic ram upside-down
- Add diff to drive rear wheels (1 axle only)
- Add compressor for pnuematics (I’m lazy, OK?)
- Add V4 (or maybe V6) engine
- Add gearbox if there’s any room left
