Brickbury Herald 27th July 2002 Early Edition

Brickbury Citizens gasped with delight as the first of the towns buildings, The Bedson Building, was unvieled yesterday. The modern vision in white marble and glass designed by local english teacher come architect Stevie Cawser, who also happens to be one of the mayor’s cousins, was opened by actress Alia Darcy in a grand ceremony which culminated in a 27 minute firework display.

Much wine was consumed and a good time was had by all. The architect announced that had there not been a shortage of windows in the town the building could have been as many as nine floors. Most citizens agreed that this was just too tall and the 3 stories which the building presently stands was just perfect.

The Bedson Building, located on the prime real estate of the corner of Fourth Street, houses the local film company, Angelic Films, as well as the firm of architects which designed the building and Thomas Savage atourney at law.

A public park next to the office building is due to open in the following days.
