Brickbury Herald 12th August 2002 Late Edition

It is official, the Mayor and Andrew Pandy have bought a house together. The small vacation hideaway, in red brick with a fetching yellow roof is not in their prefered location of Brickhenge but rather hidden away on the cliff over looking the beach. This increadibly romantic spot was apparently recommended by actress Alia Darcy who is said to have honeymooned there.

The quite secluded spot has some of the most beautiful views in the village, as one of the few elevated locations it looks out over the coast and down on the landmarks of Brickhenge and the towns parks. Access to the house is off a winding staircase cut into the rock face leading off the beach. Although not official it is expected that there will be one hell of a house warming party in the coming days.

Mayor Autissier has been busy with other things of course, however she has managed to organise a town working day, organised for tomorrow. The event which begins at 10.20 and stops for coffee at 10.30 is aimed at building the second public park in Brickbury ‘I thought it would be good if everyone got involved. The trees and flowers are ordered all we need to do is plant’ said the mayor. Food and drink will be provided by the Lambert brothers, so expect plenty chicken nuggets and pizza. Hope to see you all there.
