Brickbury Herald 8th August 2002

Well the marriage of Alia and Andrew Darcy has managed to lasted through its first week. The couple are said to be deeply in love and have not been seen apart since the private ceremony last week. Despite the Heralds predictions it has lasted and we wish them both luck in the coming months.

The ULB research labs were compleated late last evening, work has already begun to equip them with the large quantities of shiney and excessively expensive equipment that all good research laboratories require. Indeed some of the equipment is so large (and shiney) the laboratory was designed with a removable wall. The research labs which are due to start work in the following days will house the world leaders in the field of Brickstien Krystalinium compunds, as well as Proffesor Sam Grant.

The labs were yesterday visited by Mayor Autissier who is due to open them officially later in the week. A small reception was held for no real reason but to have a drink. The campus which will not be complete for many months will be a scientific institute only it was revealed by a slightly tipsy Mayor Autisser ‘Arty people don’t have any shiney equipment, I like shiney things’.
