Brickbury Herald 6th August 2002

We here at the Herald would like to express our disgust that not one person has a good enough memory to tell us the next line to: The red car and the blue car had a race, But all that red could do was stuff his face, He eats everything he sees from trucks to prickly trees... Here at the Herald we could not stop singing (hint perhaps, or maybe a foil) it all day.

Remember the grand prize of laying the foundation stone for Dinah’s Diner awaits the winner.

Other news in Brickbury today, not a lot really we would like to welcome our first officially dead resident (despite all beliefs to the contory Sleepy Tom is not yet dead). Dr Augustus Speridius, who died a massive 2326 years ago came to see the newly uncovered Brickhenge. Indeed he liked Brickhenge so much he has deciede to stay, ‘I never got to see it as a child’ he said ‘it has fulfilled a lifetimes ambition’.

And what a lifetime it has been, Augustus, or Bones to his friends, has traveled extensively, recieved degree (both under and post graduate) from establishments all over Legoworld and was even there at the birth of the railways, for which his good friend George Stevenbrick had a major role. Despite witnessing the birth and death of numerous ages he says that there is nothing more he likes than a good old drink around the table with some friends, a bit of a party.

Brickbury hopes to give him the best party of his life (or death). The party just goes on and on.

Bones made all of the citizens of Brickbury cheer with the observation ‘The best thing about being dead is you get to celebrate both your birthday and death day that’s twice as many parties than most.’
