I've been trying to build some MOC traincars, mostly freight, and wondered
what people use for their bases? Especially for hopper cars. I can't seem
to find any of those nice bases (plates) with cutouts.

Do you just build them up out of plates, or just forget about putting a
hole in the bottom?
Thanks.

p.s. If anybody can point me to where I could got the above items,
     it would be GREATLY appreciated.
