Today’s new members... Fritz Grondy.

  Another Mecha animation

It looks like build.mecha has gone a couple days without a post. We'll this should change that. I have completed work on another mecha animation file. It is the standard 60 frame spin around deal, but the model itself is one of my best. I am without (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  LEGO/MLS Soccer Truck, Framingham TRU

Hey all... I just wanted to say that while in the Framingham (Shopper's World, the first strip mall in the known universe) Toys R Us, I came across a flyer that announced and gave details of the visit of the LEGO/Major League Soccer tour truck!   LNP ActiveX for windows users

Hello, I spent some time working on an ActiveX for LNP communication and I think that may be of interest for some of the users of this group. You can find the sources at (URL) send me all your comments. Thanks, Yannis (26 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Soccer at the bar

After Brickfest on Saturday, several of the over 21 folks went to a local bar. For kicks, we brought a soccer set. It was a huge hit! Not only did the bartender like it, but several random people asked to play with us! We had a blast! (URL) (26 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

Virtual cookies (was: Re: Editing Member Pages & Netscape)

(...) I figured out last night how to make a not-too-kludged transitional workable thingie. I made a thingie where it now stores 'virtual' cookies into your Member record. If you're signed in, then it fetches the virtual cookie from there as if it (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.admin.general) !

Cool LEGO Site of the Week
Cool LEGO Site of the Week
June 11-June 17, 2000

Tom’s LEGOMania -Tom Stangl

Take a virtual tour of Tom’s office space at work, brimming with LEGO models and even an outer computer “shell” which Tom built entirely LEGO bricks (complete with a colorful Netscape logo on the side). Among other things, Tom also shows many close-up photos of a beautiful black tactical SWAT Semi truck he designed and built.

If you’ve got a couple hours free and haven’t seen them yet, don’t miss the more than 600 photos taken on “Preview Day” (March 14, 1999) at LEGOLAND California as well as almost eighty photos of a giant department store display model and some sixty photos of a local gathering of fans when the “LEGO Tour Truck” came by in October 1998. Tom’s site packs a powerful punch!
