Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Classic Space, town, trains, Technic, sculpture

My fascination with LEGO began... When I was a little kid, and continued until my teen years, when I got into programming computers (Commodore 64/128) instead. I've gone through several Dark Ages and revivals since then, but still have most of my original LEGO collection.

I once built... lots of things! In elementary school I used to build giant space ships (1 brick = 10 ft. scale) for Show & Tell. They consisted mainly of 12x24 1-brick-high baseplates with lots of 2x4 and other basic bricks on top. When the Classic Space theme came out I adopted the Galaxy Explorer style with minifig scale instead. I also enjoy Technic (Expert Builder to me), but never got into it as much. These days I mostly build town & train and participate in BayLUG / BayLTC shows. My greatest accomplishment is Bricks by the Bay, an annual convention for LEGO fans in the bay area.

Someday I will build... More sculptures Big spaceships Buildings for train layout (BayLTC)

LEGO is great because... You can build anything and rebuild again and again in new ways

LEGO fans are great because... Very supportive and friendly

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Dancing - blues, waltz, contra; Soccer - San Jose Earthquakes, USA National Teams

My favorite Foods: Mostly vegetarian but I do eat seafood

My favorite Movies & TV: Lots
