Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Trains, Classic Town, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Castle, SPACE!

My fascination with LEGO began... when I was younger than I can remember. Mom started buying me LEGO sets before I was born I think. As far back as I can remember...I've been a LEGO fan.

I once built... a brothel...

Someday I will build... a mountain scene. I'd like to do something huge with climbers, a base camp, and numerous high camps.

LEGO is great because... it helps me relax and fosters creativity. It's also a great way for my wife and I to exercise our artistic-engineering side. It's a hobby that I have enjoyed for the better part of 25 years and I see myself enjoying LEGO bricks well into the future.

LEGO fans are great because... they treat fellow fans like family...but without the plate throwing. :-) It's just nice how everyone comes together and exchanges ideas and building techniques. It seems that LEGO fans just want to see the hobby progress and to see new and exciting creations. Nobody seems to be in it for merely personal gain.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Wii, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Board Games

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: LEGO, Aviation, Mountain Biking, Climbing/Mountaineering, Music, Disc Golf, Camping, Photography

My favorite Foods: Pizza, Chai, Kashi, Any Noodle Dish

My favorite Movies & TV: Star Wars, Anime, Lord of the Rings, The Aviator, Harry Potter, Hunt for Red Oktober

My favorite Artists: Edvard Munch, Van Gogh, Monet

My favorite Music: Acceptance, Rise Against, Jimmy Buffett, Less Than Jake, BT, 80's Hair/Glam Metal, Something Corporate, Jacks Mannequin, Power Metal

My favorite Pets & Animals: Allie...my Beagle

Words which best describe me: Kid-at-Heart, Weird, Nerdy, Dork, Random, Geek

I love it when... a cool new LEGO set comes out. I especially love it when I can afford to get it.

I hate it when... I miss out on a cool set because it's limited edition and I was too slow to pick it up.

I can't seem to get enough... 9V train track, windows, and earth tone pieces.

I always seem to have enough... wheels and tyres.

I hope I always... have my wonderful wife's support in all I do.

I wish I could... move overseas to work and live for a few years.

I could never... not be involved with LEGO in some way.

I hope I never... lose sight of the important people and things in my life.

I wish I hadn't... stayed in the Midwest.

In my craziest moments... I've done a lot of crazy stuff. Get to know me and you'll probably hear about it...from me, Stacy, or my mom.

Believe it or not... I used to be a rally driver and Stacy was my co-driver. We ran in the SCCA ClubRally series and the inaugural year of the Rally America series. We raced for 4 years and won a couple divisional championships.

If I were super-human... I'd use my power to help the environment...and fly to the moon.

More & Less:
  • more LEGO Bricks, less MegaBloks
  • more Brilliant Minds, less Dumbasses
  • more Love for Mother Earth, less Waste

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Try everything at least once and experience as much as you can.
  2. Think for yourself and question authority.
  3. Damn the man! Save the Empire!

Additional comments:

Wow, this application is long. :-) I think you've learned a lot about me so far. I'm pretty out there sometimes, but I like to think that creativity and my "question authority" style helps me excel in my daily life. I'm also a firm believer that building with LEGO bricks helps me on a daily basis as a computer aided engineering analyst in the plastics industry.
