Tim Rueger

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Technic, classic Lego (70s-80s), Space, just about anything

My fascination with LEGO began... Circa 1973: Universal Set 135

I once built... The EKG machine from the 8888 Expert Builder Idea Book. (I still have the tapes.)

Someday I will build... Something cool that no one else has done before.

LEGO is great because... It gives you power to build, easily.

LEGO fans are great because... They're smart and not self-absorbed (it IS just plastic bits, after all...).

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: iPod Video 80G, home theater, road bike

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Origami, Music, Movies

My favorite Foods: Austin Tex-Mex

My favorite Movies & TV: Firefly/Serenity, Raiders of the Lost Ark, MST3K, Muppet Show

My favorite Music: Duke Ellington, Art Blakey, REM, KGSR (107.1FM, Austin)

Words which best describe me: Fairly smart, easily frustrated, tries to be friendly

I love it when... Things Just Work. People smile at me.

I hate it when... Things Don't Work. I feel stupid.

I can't seem to get enough... Time to play.

I always seem to have enough... Housework.

I hope I always... Remember where I came from.

I wish I could... Swim.

In my craziest moments... I drink very heavily and sing silly songs.

If I were super-human... I would get everyone to think more, and act accordingly.

More & Less:
  • more Turn signals, less Tailgating
  • more Integrated circuit designers, less MBAs and lawyers
  • more Equanimity, less Sleep loss

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Be generous.
  2. Stuff worth owning is worth taking care of.
  3. Relax.
