Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Star Wars; space; MOCs

My fascination with LEGO began... a long time ago

I once built... a pretty big castle

Someday I will build... a really big castle

LEGO is great because... it works on so many levels

LEGO fans are great because... they all love the bricks and share their info on making cool things

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: military armor models

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: LEGO; reading

My favorite Movies & TV: Clone Wars; LOTR;FMJ; Alien trilogy; anything "Star... Wars, Trek, Gate!

My favorite Artists: da Vinci; FLW; H.H.Richardson;

My favorite Music: Led Zeppelin; Rage Against the Machine; Bob Marley; Soundgarden

My favorite Pets & Animals: none. i have kids, who needs a pet!

Words which best describe me: intense

I love it when... i have lots of bricks to build with

I hate it when... i can't find the right bricks to build with

I can't seem to get enough... bricks

I always seem to have enough... bricks

I hope I always... have bricks

I wish I could... do nothing but build with my bricks (and kids)

I could never... get rid of my bricks

I hope I never... have my wife take away my bricks

I wish I hadn't... gone on hiatus and stopped playing (and accumulating) with bricks for all those lost years

In my craziest moments... i'd buy all the bricks i could

Believe it or not... i'm not half as cray as some of you folks

If I were super-human... i could build with bricks and take them apart really fast

More & Less:
  • more kindness, less hate
  • more giving, less greed
  • more bricks, less work

Rules I try to live by:
  1. don't yell at the kids; hug 'em instead
  2. budha rules; remember karma
  3. do unto others...

Additional comments:

Greetings! A few Christmas' ago I was reintroduced to LEGO® when my cousin gave my son (he's 6 1/2 now) his LEGO® collection. This relatively small collection also consisted of bricks I had given my cousin when he was younger many moons ago. Playing with this collection of LEGO® with my children (I have 2; she's 7 1/2) reawakened the joy I had using LEGO® as a child and it has been great fun to now be able to pass this on to my own children. I also find that it's great stress relief! Since then (much to the amusement of my wife) I have become engulfed with LEGO® in a way which I believe many other AFOLs would find eerily familiar.

I have a military background and a great literary love for Fantasy/SciFi and these are the genres I generally build in as well as the occasional Structure.
