Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Mindstorms, Star Wars, basic bricks

My fascination with LEGO began... as a kid in the late 60's & early 70's. Many of the bricks used then are still being used by my kids today.

I once built... architecturally detailed buildings.

Someday I will build... my own coffin made of legos.

LEGO is great because... of durable and fully interchangable parts; a simple basic system with limitless design potential.

LEGO fans are great because... they are curious and fun.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: electric trains and racing sets, science toys and die-cast cars

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: history of science & tech, computers, contributing to wikipedia

My favorite Foods: Pizza & "ethnic," e.g., Italian, asian, middle eastern, Indian

My favorite Movies & TV: eclectic - from trash (bad cop shows) to educational (PBS, Discovery)

My favorite Artists: Yves Klein, Jenny Holzer, Grant Wood, John Singer Sargent, Dutch landscapes

My favorite Music: eclectic: from Ska to Sinatra; Moby to Mozart

My favorite Pets & Animals: cats, dogs, lizards, insects

Words which best describe me: contradictory - conservative, yet liberal; laid-back, yet serious.

I love it when... I'm playing with my kids.

I hate it when... I have to deal with bureaucratic crap.

I can't seem to get enough... time to read newspapers.

I always seem to have enough... observations on the absurdity of life.

I hope I always... will be curious and tolerant.

I wish I could... be more patient.

I could never... be mean to kids.

I hope I never... forget that I'm renting space on earth from today's kids.

I wish I hadn't... screwed off so much as a college student. Learning is so much more fun than partying.

In my craziest moments... I binge eat gummi bears.

Believe it or not... I'm a licensed attorney.

If I were super-human... I'd visit Mars.

More & Less:
  • more peace, love and understanding., less ignorance and hatred; money spent on armaments and military forces.
  • more education and technology available to everyone for free on the Web., less business entities greedily hording intellectual property rights.
  • more energy efficient means of transportation., less parking lots and highways being built.

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Treat others the way you wish to be treated.
  2. Your mind is like a parachute - it only works when it is open.
  3. carpe diem - seize the moment.
