Favorite LEGO toys/themes: I've just gotten back into Lego at the young age of 31 and find myself trying to buy-back sets from my youth at ludicrous prices ;-) I'm also trying to acquire sets I wanted as a kid and never did obtain--also at ludicrous prices ;-) I like the Technic and Model Team sets mostly--I have the 5571 Big Rig, 853 Auto Chassis, and 8448 Super Car now.

My fascination with LEGO began... Probably when I was around 5 or six and continued through my high-teens. Then I discovered girls and school/work/career stuff took me away for a while.

I once built... An awesome Indy Sports car in yellow out of technic parts that would put today's new sets to shame (then I sold it at a moving sale for $10--doh!).

Someday I will build... A F4F Hellcat out of lego! My wife and I are also working on a replica of our house and are considering constructing a town in the basement.. who knows.

LEGO is great because... You can make countless "toys" out of a single set and it inspires the imagination of kids of all ages.

LEGO fans are great because... They're passionate about their Lego and like to share that passion with others--and most are extremely helpful with advice and tips on where to find parts/sets/instructions etc.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: probably my computer

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Fly fishing, fly tying, computer and video games, collecting die-cast military vehicles and planes.

My favorite Foods: Pizza, burgers, steaks, the standard meat&potatoes.

My favorite Movies & TV: The Sopranos, NYPD Blue, Drew Carey

My favorite Music: Metallica, U2

My favorite Pets & Animals: One Smooth Fox Terrier named Bailey

Words which best describe me: A well-rounded adult with a well-developed inner-child.

I love it when... I find an old Lego set at Wal-Mart for peanuts!

I hate it when... I buy a set that used to cost peanuts for big bucks--especially when it's a set I sold years ago for peanuts.

I can't seem to get enough... Free time!

I always seem to have enough... Work to do.

I hope I always... Like Legos--even when I'm 80!

I wish I could... Take a year off to fish.

I could never... Swim the English Channel.

I hope I never... Grow old at heart.

I wish I hadn't... Sold all my lego 10 years ago for $30.

In my craziest moments... I've jumped out of a perfectly good airplane in Hawaii.

Believe it or not... It was fun.

If I were super-human... I'd do it again.

More & Less:
  • more open space, less Massive SUVs used to go to the grocery store.
  • more interaction with strangers/neigbors., less isolationism.
  • more Hobby Stores, less Videogame stores

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Treat others as I would like to be treated
  2. Never make work my #1 priority again.
  3. Get outside as often as possible.

Additional comments:

Just that so far I think Lugnet rocks! Keep it up!
