Sid Dinsay
(Brickplate [formerly "onedaycnn"])

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Space, Star Wars, Aquazone, Town, and Adventurers

My fascination with LEGO began... ...around 1977, when I got my first Lego set.

I once built... ...an entire city that took up my coffee table in the living room downstairs. In a Godzilla-like rage, I laid it to waste as one can do only with Lego--the debris was quickly picked up, then sorted!

Someday I will build... ...a Mona Lisa out of Lego. I've already gotten a headstart and built a 38-brick high (approx.) Mona Lisa face--with help from the "Big Book of Lego." I'll also build a full-size Federation starship one day--I've already built three Klingon Bird-of- Preys.

LEGO is great because... I have my own Lego room!

LEGO fans are great because... ...they start up websites like LUGNET--and yet manage to remain modest and humble.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Star Wars action figs, etc.

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Lego, Lego, Star Trek, Lego, Star Wars, Atari games.

My favorite Foods: I admit it: I like all foods.

My favorite Movies & TV: Anything "Star Trek"; movies about journalism and US history; on TV, "Seinfeld," "NewsRadio," "Just Shoot Me" and "That 70's Show".

My favorite Artists: All of them. You play with Lego, so consider yourself one.

My favorite Music: Movie scores, Dave Matthews Band, Elton John, REM, Goo Goo Dolls, classical.

My favorite Pets & Animals: My Pekingese, Daffy; my soft-coated wheaten terrier, Sunday; my wife's King Charles Spaniel, Ollie; and our new Cairn, Leroy!

Words which best describe me: Creative, a little chubby, not ashamed.

I love it when... ...I find a complete (or slightly incomplete) Lego set at a garage sale or thrift shop.

I hate it when... ...people get credit for things they don't deserve credit for.

I can't seem to get enough... ...Lego.

I always seem to have enough... ...air. It's like it never runs out.

I hope I always... ...love life enough to play with Lego despite what my friends, family and co-workers think.

I wish I could... ...visit Billund, Denmark; or the set of "Voyager".

I could never... ...sell or give away my Lego.

I hope I never... ...sell or give away my Lego.

I wish I hadn't... ...sold or given away my Lego.

In my craziest moments... ...I've sold or given away my Lego.

Believe it or not... ...I've gotten back some of that Lego. ;)

If I were super-human... ...I would be Timmy.

More & Less:
  • more Music, less Ashlee Simpson
  • more Diplomacy, less War
  • more Lego, less "Mega Bloks"

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
  2. I'm smart enough, I'm good enough, and doggone it, people like me.
  3. Tell the truth.

Additional comments:

I love Lego. And you should too!
